Goose Creek Trail - It’s an easy to moderate 5-6 mile hike round trip with a 1000 foot elevation gain to Goose Lake. The trail is mostly easy with some short steep inclines and several creek crossings. Pretty meadows, wild flowers, trees, nice views and mining history. You will need to drive your own vehicle approximately 2 miles up 578 to the trailhead parking area. Meet at the Community House. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water, rain gear and a sack lunch.
